What good that it can be,
Have the faith but no deeds;
Without a legacy,
With growing from the seeds.
Can only faith save you?
Without works you labor;
One staving what to do,
Should you feed your neighbor?
Clothe and feed to have peace,
As to be warmed and filled;
That their sorrow does cease,
Pray so they are instilled.
Without giving the things,
Needed for to survive;
What good does rudeness brings,
Not keeping them alive.
By only faith alone,
Without works they are dead;
Because God will have known,
The life that you have led.
Having faith, they might say,
But no works to impart;
And they will go astray;
Faith is not in their heart.
You believe in one God,
Even demons believe;
Because they have been flawed,
But they cannot perceive.
Do you want to be shown,
No works faith is worthless;
God has already known,
As their fate will surface.
But we are justified,
What Abraham offered;
For Christ the crucified,
Through the works recovered.
Justified by works done,
The spirit is not dead;
With their faith through the Son,
Through works their faith is fed.
