My name is Lavina,and I want to share with you my poems!Feel free to look through them, and please ask permission to use them !
Bare with me I am new at this !
I just want to tell a little bit about me:
I was born in Maine ,(another one of GODS country)in a small town called Fort Fairfield .I am a family of 12 children. 7 sisters and 5 brothers.I lost my father awhile back and my mother(ANNIE) in 1998,she was 85.And while she was sick,she was the one that inspired me to write poems.She always said, "Everyone has some kind of talent,and one day you will find yours"! And she was right ! (And the thing was... I could never write a poem before this) And just about a year after losing my mother,(And many,many tears later) my beloved sister(BARBARA) at 55, died of cancer.
So this web site is dedicated to my mother(ANNIE) and my sister (BARBARA).

My family and friends mean the world to me,and without them,I could not of wrote my poems ! So thank you "FAMILY" and "FRIENDS" !!
I also want to thank my first husband (FRANK) for giving me my 3 beautiful children !The 3 of us,(my husband,our baby Joe and me) moved to New York in 1965.We now have three beautiful children~~ Joe 37, Michelle 34, Jim 33.
And 6 beautiful grand-children~~~ Paul,Brandon,Desiree,Haley,Roman and Little Zachary !
They are "The Love of My Life"
I re-married in 1981 and now live in the beautiful state of Florida with my husband BRIAN, and our Black & White Cocker Spaniel name... Jimmy- dog !
