Living in a nursing home
old folks who raised a family and worked all of their life now in a wheel chair dependant on others, just sitting all alone

I grew up in a nursing home, when i was just a boy
my grand mother was there, and when we visited her every week end, when we came to spend time with her, she had so much joy

Many folks ,of every walk of life, need nursing care
when i worked in nursing homes as a CNA and a nurse, the love i received from the old folks stays in my heart with no compare

When you sit and talk, and get to know the folks who what and where they have been
you will be greatly impressed then

The old folks would tell me, getting old is not for a sissy or weakling
many challenges of mobility, aches and pains from a life time of hard work it will bring

The hardest work that i ever did, was working in my nursing home
my mother always told me, that all of-- the dedication, devoution, LOVE,  and support, and hard challenging wok that, you do, behind closed doors no one will ever realize or know,but--- GOD, knows the love, care, compassion, that to every patient that you have with all of your heart shown
