Be joyful in the Lord,
Not a problem for me;
To be in one accord,
Having life that is free.
I write the same to you,
It is for your safety;
Telling all that is true,
Living in the beauty.
But beware of the dogs,
Who do such evil things;
Political demagogues,
With the promise it brings.
Beware of those who beg,
Asking for your support;
A platform with no leg,
To stand on when in court.
Because the God we serve,
His Spirit we take pride;
With confidence and nerve,
In Jesus and abide.
We place no confidence,
In the physical things;
They offer no defense,
With pleasure that it brings.
I must have confidence,
In the restoration;
Through my obedience,
In getting salvation.
If one thinks they can trust,
Anything physical;
It is nothing but lust,
As being mythical.
For Christ makes all things new,
That is not physical,
Only what you can construe,
By thinking spiritual.
It is far more than that,
What you think has value;
But the unseen in fact,
Can be treasure to you.
