Praise unto our God,
Father of our Lord;
Who we honor and laud,
Truly loved and adored.
God has given new birth,
Because of His mercy;
He knows our true worth,
But are too blind to see.
We are born in new life,
Now having confidence;
Though we are hit with strife,
God is our defense.
We have been born again,
And will not fade away;
Never like it had been,
When you had gone astray.
Such an inheritance,
That cannot be destroyed;
Helps with obedience,
When cravings are employed.
It is kept in Heaven,
Locked up in a large vault;
Soon it will be given,
After cleansed of each fault.
We know not the hour,
When the end is revealed;
It is in His power,
When the vault is unsealed.
I am extremely glad,
About all of these things;
And could never be sad,
About just what it brings.
Even though you suffer,
There will be rippling hope;
If times might get rougher,
Christ will help you to cope.
