My heart desires and prays,
On the behalf of the Jews;
That they shall follow always,
The path that the Lord does choose.
So they are no longer slaves,
And Christ is the only way;
To be rescued from their graves,
From the sin that made them stray.
I can only assure you,
Most are deeply devoted;
But misguided what is true,
As their faith is demoted.
For they do not understand,
How to receive approval;
So they plant on sinking sand,
Sins never have removal.
So they set up their own way,
But not accepted by God;
No matter how hard each day,
They will be remaining flawed.
But thus saith our Lord God,
To whom are you believing?
Who do you honor and laud?
For salvation receiving.
The one who obeys the Law,
Will live because they obey;
And will not see any flaw,
Because they never do stray.
Ask not who goes to Heaven,
Ask not who will go to hell;
The answer has been given,
Where each person will soon dwell.
It is in your mind and heart,
How you sense that faith is spread;
If you confess then you start,
And a new life can be fed.
But you must also believe,
Declare that Jesus is Lord;
Eternal life you receive,
If He is loved and adored.
