I do ask you to show, Your appreciation; For the leaders that know, Reconciliation. On how to get along, As sister and brother; Admit when you are wrong, About one another. I ask that you love them, Thinking very highly; Never try to condemn, To maintain dignity. The work they are doing, Is in the best interest; What they are pursuing, To accomplish the quest. I ask to live in peace, Never try to argue; So the ill will can cease, In all things that you do. I also encourage, To instruct your neighbor; Never to discourage, In all that they labor. Always do what is good, Encouraging others; In doing as they should, In helping their brothers. So always be joyful, And never stop praying; Always being grateful, To God while praising. Give thanks no matter what, It is the will of God; Because the end result, Will help where you are flawed. Copyright © 2014 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
