Imagine if He'd changed His mind
Imagine that if you could find
A moment yours small spec of time
A thought but brief one yours not blind
Imagine you scourged and distressed
Chained, whipped, endless and thought of less
For speaking peace of Kingdom yours
For spreading love, mans longed for cure
Imagine you walking the path
With cross deserved upon your back
Through city, where mob did scream
To death with you as if a fiend
Imagine pain by stones and spit
By many thrown on you who lit
The world you came to save and tell
A world of hurt that worships Hell
Imagine mom who birthed a son
That came to be the Kingdoms One
That walked along your beaten path
That chased with haste until breaths last
Imagine nails piercing your skin
For mankind, you took all sin
Upon yourself who did no wrong
But spoke the truth, The Word, Love strong
Now imagine if he would change
His mind, his heart now you estranged
Would be at loss much more this day
For in your hands, you chose your way
No salvation paid with blood
No redemption, yours thought of
Waste away enslaved by one
That craved your soul and everyone's
Fire yours to bathe and burn
Place hotter than is the Sun
This and much more all yours to keep
When death calls you to final sleep
Imagine if a change of heart
Became mindset of Him the part
That saved more than the day for man
Jesus who came to save man damned
Imagine if Christ were to have a change of heart
Blessings to those who knows not Christ
but comes to accept Him as Lord and Savior this Easter
